The Velair compact DC air conditioning units are powered directly by 12 volts from the boat’s battery bank, without the need for a generator or inverter.
VSD Inverter Smart technology offers the advantages of eliminating power peaks at start-up, maximum energy efficiency, and significantly reduced compressor noise and vibration during operation.
The twin rotary compressor with a brushless permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) varies its rotation speed to continuously adapt to the difference between the set/requested temperature and the ambient temperature detected by the sensor integrated into the control panel. This ensures highly precise room temperature control in all conditions, with minimal noise and vibration. The outgoing air flow is kept constant thanks to DC brushless variable speed technology fans, which can be rotated for easier on-board installation.

Compact Velair DC air conditioning units include a Smart M7 Touch wall-mount control panel with an elegant, ultra-thin design and integrated room temperature sensor, electronic LED control with touch interface, and a magnetic installation frame on a standard 503-sized box that does not require screws for connection to the panel.
